Town Square has a new home, and it’s built to do things the old one couldn’t. Here’s what changed, side by side, and why it matters for the way you build relationships in H7.
Why We Moved
The old Town Square ran inside a platform provided by Mighty Networks, and that came with a container. It worked, but it was limited. Every time we wanted to customize it so it worked better for members, we hit the edge of that container, and getting past it could have cost tens of thousands of dollars.
The change started with a member. Zac Parker went into the old Town Square, saw the challenges with expanding it and improving the experience, and decided to do something about it. He built a new Town Square for us. He did a wonderful job.
The result keeps everything members relied on and adds what the old version couldn’t.

What’s New, in Detail
My Connections. This is where you organize your relationships inside H7. Sort them by Connection, Referral Partner, or Champion, and keep notes that only you can see. You’ll know who you’re talking to, when to reach out, and how often, so no relationship drifts because you lost track of it.
Connectors. This is where we recognize members for helping other members. You earn points as you help, and your work shows up on the home page in the Community News Feed. With your permission, we can also share it with the wider community.
Asks and Offers. Members post what they’re looking for, whether it’s a target market, an industry, or a type of person. Other members step in and fulfill those asks right inside Town Square. We track that activity and use it to move you into recognition as a Connector, so helping others is what builds your standing.
Marketplace and storefronts. The new Marketplace opens soon. Members will be able to sell their own products and services back into the community, or set up a storefront for $2.99: their own landing page, connected directly to Town Square.

It’s an app. Put Town Square on your phone and use it from anywhere. I do.

How to Get In
First time here? Being an H7 member doesn’t sign you in on its own. Town Square is a new site with its own accounts, so everyone sets one up once, even long-standing members. Create yours using the email your membership is under.
Had a profile on the old Town Square? Use the same email you used there. Once you’ve confirmed it, we’ll offer to copy your old profile into your new one, so you don’t have to type it all again.
